I've spent the last year and a half volunteering and working with the Azlheimer's Association. Throughout that time I have coordinated their community education programs, taught classes, trained support group facilitators, trained first responders and medical professionals, coordinated educational symposiums and summits, taken helpline calls, facilitated in-office care consultations, grown physiscian outreach and referals and have built a strong LGBT outreach committee. Providing services to our wonderderful community is my biggest passion and priority every day that I come to work. I try to make my community and the organization proud by being a pillar of strength and support to all those affected by dementia and constantly working towards a world without Alzheimer's.
