Chris was raised in a small town in northeast Texas and after graduation, it became clear that he needed a change of scenery. In 2000, he made the bold move to San Antonio, where he met his wife of 12 years. They married and welcomed their first child in 2004. Focused on family life, fatherhood and being the best provider that he could be, he joined corporate America and added two other children to his family. After years of toiling the workforce and living what everyone imagined was the American dream, Chris realized that his life and marriage were not fulfilling him and approached his wife with news that on one could have imagined. He was leaving the marriage and going to live as his true authentic self. After a hurtful divorce and a career change from his management position of 14 years to one of America’s top fortune 500 companies, Chris went on to pursue a career in real estate. It was a difficult time, but he persevered and followed the desires of his heart. Recently, Chris joined the Tom White Group of Keller Williams Legacy and has created a great relationship with his business partners at the Legacy office.
Chris enjoys a flourishing relationship with his partner of over four years and enjoys the accomplishments they have achieved over the years. The last decade has brought many challenges to Chris and his family but he continues to grow, both personally and professionally. Chris enjoys attending social and professional events, assisting his partner with his interior design business. He is a proud supporter of the LGBT+ equality and believes in giving back to the community through a variety of local and charitable organizations. He is blessed to enjoy a strong and loving relationship with his ex-wife and three fabulous children, Julius 16, Marcus 14, and Leyla 9.
