    Melissa is grateful to be the 2021 Board of Directors President of the San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce and privileged to serve the LGBTQ community. She has been with the Chamber for 2 ½ years in different roles. Melissa recently accepted a seat as Board Member for the ACTS-HIV Ministry. She serves her church community of St. Luke’s Catholic Church where she is involved in ACTS and WOW Ministries. She has been on the Walk Committee for the San Antonio Chapter of the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) for 6 years. Melissa has a BAAS Degree from Texas A&M University – San Antonio and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting Technology from San Antonio College. 

    Melissa strives to help businesses become the best they can for the community and their employees. Melissa is in the financial industry as a Licensed Agent of New York Life Insurance Company. She comes with 25 plus years experience in upper management within the retail industry.

    Melissa is excited to work with and get to know each of the members to make the LGBTQ + community and Allies stronger and connected. She looks forward to making 2020 the best year for the San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce in connecting with its Local and Corporate Business Members.

    I am the Head Pastor of "A Journey With God 3" and honored to be the mother of a wonderful little boy who completes the canvas of my life. 

    I have a strong background of twenty plus years in retail management. Gratefully, my background has endowed me with a wealth of knowledge in human interactionsI’ve learned and understand that customer service is the key component to any business. am passionate about helping others and am drawn to coaching and developing my peers, teams, and community. 

    I look forward to bringing this passion to the LGBTQ+ community through the LGBT Chamber of Commerce as a Board Member. I will work closely with my peers to build a strong organization and provide support to each individual to acknowledge their strengths and abilities. I am excited to serve the LGBTQ+ and Ally community and look forward to working with each of you. 

  • Jezzika Lee Perez




    Perez & Associates Tax Group, LLC


    Jezzika Lee Perez has been in the Tax and Accounting arena for over 20 years.  After holding positions within the Federal Government in Washington, DC and working for one of the Big 4 Accounting firms, Jezzika realized her passion was in helping small businesses.  Formed in 2013, Perez & Associates Tax Group, LLC, is a tax practice dedicated to working with small businesses and the non-profit community of Bexar County.  Her leadership position on the San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce and past experience as an Adjunct Accounting Professor reflects her commitment and passion to giving back to her community.  In her spare time, Jezzika enjoys Yoga, Softball, updating her Yelp profile and finding opportunities to commit random acts of kindness.  A native of South Texas, Jezzika earned her Master’s and Bachelor’s Accounting degrees from Texas A&M University – Kingsville.




  • Justin Munoz




    Justin is an experienced project manager with expertise in marketing, public relations, event planning, and fundraising. 

    Since moving to San Antonio in 2018, he is now partnership manager and strategist for the strategic communications and marketing department at Trinity University, Justin is responsible for managing cross-campus relationships and liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy. Prior to his work at Trinity, Justin spent six years at Texas A&M – Kingsville working in alumni affairs, annual giving, and marketing, focusing on student and alumni participation. He holds an MBA from Texas A&M University – Kingsville, and a bachelor’s degree in communication students from the University of Texas at Austin. 

    In his spare time, Justin is a cycling instructor, personal trainer, and fitness professional. He is ready to “lift” San Antonio to new heights.

    Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper Realtors


    Jamie is currently a successful Realtor with Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, Realtors where she specializes in serving the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and other diverse groups. She is the founding President of the NAGLREP San Antonio Chapter (National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals). The mission is to advocate for fair and equal housing rights for LGBTQ+ people and to increase home ownership in the community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Transgender Education Network of Texas, an organization dedicated to furthering gender diverse equality through education and networking. She also has a leadership role with the Pride Center San Antonio where she works to connect the LGBTQ+ and HIV communities to resources, services, and events. Her passion is bringing attention to the need for ALL LGBTQ+ individuals to be treated with dignity, equality, and respect in all aspects of society, including access to professional business opportunities.

    Antonio is a veteran with over 22 years of military service and currently serves as the Military Liaison and Advisor for the San Antonio Board of the Chamber of Commerce.  His main goal is to reach out to the LGBTQ+ military communities across all three local installations {Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam, JBSA Lackland, & JBSA Randolph}. He has always been behind the scenes while serving in the military for 14 out of the 17 years of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” (DADT) Law and its’ appeal. Now being able to fully engage our young LGBTQ+ military community by providing them with the education, dignity, inclusion, and sense of belonging that wasn’t allowed to him is one of his main passions.  He is attending graduate school to complete his educational requirements to obtain his Master’s in Business Administration.  Lastly, but not least, he and his husband are parents to seven children and two grandchildren as proud products of those who also stand tall after the Supreme Courts overturn the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) which did not allow same-sex marriages to be recognized for federal benefits to include beneficiaries and dependents.  He is genuinely here to assist and aid our LGBTQ+ youth to the future and beyond.




  • Jeff Ivey



    Jeff Ivey is President and CEO of River City Federal Credit Union, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Juntos Avanzamos credit union located in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 1936, the credit union serves members in Bexar County and is also designated as a Minority Deposit Institution (MDI).

    Ivey has over 30 years in the financial industry, working at large regional and small community banks, as well as a large credit union prior to joining River City in 2018. He is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University and received his MBA from the University of Washington.

    He and wife Janice are also court appointed child advocates with CASA in San Antonio, working with children that are under Child Protective Services custody due to abuse and neglect. Jeff is a Board Member with the San Antonio LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, serves on the United Way’s Partners for Community Change, and is a Credit Union Advisory Council board member for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.




  • Yesenia Camacho



    I taught higher education English Composition and literature courses for seven years post my first graduate program. It was immensely fulfilling having the opportunity to contribute to the intellectual and personal cultivation of college learners. However, I recently made a lateral career move by exiting the education industry and entering  the sales industry. I am currently a sales professional at Red McCombs Toyota, and I am honored to form part of the San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce board of directors. 






  • Amanda Cena


    Cena Marketing LLC


    As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Amanda is honored to serve as a Board of Director for the San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce. A Laredo, Texas native, she moved to San Antonio to attend San Antonio College and the University of Texas in San Antonio, graduating with an Associates in Music Business and a Bachelors in Business Marketing, respectively.  In her professional career, she has served as the event coordinator for the AT&T Center & San Antonio Spurs family. After her position as event coordinator for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, she was Director of Marketing for ABC Kids Expo specializing in international events. She is currently in pursuit of her Certification in Events and Expositions (CEM) from the International Association of Events and Expositions (IAEE). Amanda provides digital marketing services with her business Cena Marketing LLC for the San Antonio and surrounding areas.
